This document explains what e-Learning is and how it differs from traditional classroom training. It goes on to explain the different types of Internet functions available, from global access to web seminars, and describes how e-Learning emphasizes focusing on the learner.
The second part of the document concentrates on the organization’s readiness for e-Learning and provides a series of self-assessment questionnaires that enable training managers to decide how ready their organization is for e-Learning. They also enable managers to assess potential suppliers of e-Learning on series of issues, from instructional content to deployment systems.
